COMMITTEE REPORTS
STEWARDSHIP:
FINANCE:
PROPERTY: Dan Stall has been hired for the kitchen remodel. Pulpit squeaks may be repaired
with wood screws or lag bolts. Jim is in charge of this. Pastor Steve said that any parsonage
repairs could wait at this time. Secretary’s office needs new carpeting.
WORSHIP & MUSIC: The midi has been replaced. The cost was $2,106 of which $1,010 has been
received. Motion made (Ron/Jim) and carried to pay this bill and replenish fund as able. $410 in
the carillon bell fund. Perhaps transfer this balance into the midi fund.
CEMETERY:
FELLOWSHIP:
EVANGELISM: Ron is arranging a date for us to serve at Church’s United. Will provide music
as well as food.
CHRISTIAN ED:
MEMORIALS: Tables are being purchased as well as 50-75 chairs. Suggested that a dolly be also
purchased. Brochures are being printed with a listing of the 6 different funds. Because assets
so often flow back and forth between Bethlehem’s memorial fund and general fund, and because
Bethlehem’s treasurer is required to give an annual accounting to donors; a motion was made
(Pete/Ron) and carried to shift responsibility for memorial funds to Bethlehem’s treasurer.
YOUTH & FAMILY:
MUTUAL MINISTRY:
VIKING MANOR: Will be making shirt protectors tomorrow.
OLD BUSINESS: Jerry Dahl has been asked to do electrical work in the kitchen. Estimate was
between $500 and $1000. May run a little higher. He said he would try to keep it as low as
possible.
NEW BUSINESS: Comparisons discussed regarding repairing the copy machine and risograph.
Average cost to repair is $99.08 per month. We could lease a new copy machine for $89.84. It
was decided that we go with that option.
Task force meeting scheduled for March 9, 2010 7 pm.
